I was worried to death about the security there. I know they do a good job and are thorough, but with that many people, I was scared when they got out of the car.
Oh I always wanted to know what was on the roof of the Capitol building. Neat.I watched George Carlin;s last concert last night and when I saw this photo, remembered what he said about heaven, if it existed, would be incredibly crowded since billions and billions of souls have preceded us. Carlin was doing one of his logistics of myth lectures. xoxo Charlie
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know? I hear my being dance from ear to ear. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you? God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there, And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how? The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair; I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do To you and me; so take the lively air, And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know. What falls away is always. And is near. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I have to go.

Kind of wonderful and scary all at the same time.

Very cool images! They say it was 2 million people.
It makes me dizzy lookin' down at all that.
Imagine being IN it!
What a View!
makes you realize just how insignificant humans really are in the big scheme of things, ya know?
There I am!!!!
Oh, wait, no I'm not. I was here, watching it in an office via chunky-clunky CNN feed.
