Einstein Quote of the Day

I might have had this one on here before. They repeat them, and I don't remember if I posted some or not.

It is my view that the vegetarian manner of living by its purely physical effect on the human temperament would most beneficially influence the lot of mankind.

This reminded me of a Calvin & Hobbes cartoon where Calvin is sitting at his school desk and says to the teacher,

"Specifically, I'd like to debate whether cannibalism ought to be grounds for leniency in murders, since it's less wasteful."

I know, I know -- weird segue from vegetarianism to cannibalism, but that's how my mind works. :-D

And this is one of the many reasons I like you, Ell! Love Calvin & Hobbes, too!
