Happy Birthday to Me!

I'll be in Nashville most of the day because I'm going to a meeting at Brendan's school to discuss his IEP. Brian and Melissa include me in these meetings, and I'm honored that they do. It will be good to see them and to spend some time with them.

This is one of those milestone birthdays - the Medicare one! Yikes! How did I get so old! I can't believe it, yet here I am! So thank you for the greetings and good wishes! I'm glad I'm here and appreciate all of you who read my blog. Thanks for that, too. :-)

I totally forgot you were Libran, many happy returns my love.Medicare has quite a few benefits that will relieve you of a lot of expenses and make life a whole lot easier. No more co pays with all these specialists but still for meds.I have gotten bills and just ignored them. Somehow they got paid. Now to find out how much they will pay for your alternative treatments. for soc sec I think I had to wait 10 mos but they notified me. Course I retired later than you. May not apply.
Welcome to the adolescence of old age.
love ya= hugs=

Congratulations on the milestone - I have one coming up next year, although I prefer to refer to it as a millstone. I have a Libran daughter - her birthday is on Monday, and they are absolutely delightful people!

Penblwydd hapus Joy. That's in Welsh, just in case you wondered. I read somethere that Jack Daniels was Welsh. No wonder he escaped Wales.... But have a great one!

Thank you, everyone, for the birthday wishes and the wonderful things you said!

I'd prefer a chocolate cake, but that one does look good. We can all use a good fork and some cake!

Brian and Melissa took me to lunch at a coffee shop near Brendan's school in East Nashville. We had a good visit and always enjoy spending time with each other. When I got home, my tin of peanut butter fudge was waiting for me on a chair on my carport that was a gift from my brother. He makes the best!

It's been a good day. Thanks again to all of you!!! xoxoxoxox

Oh my sweet Joy, my DWTS buddy. I'm sorry I was absent for your birthday and didn't file a timely post filled with loving birthday wishes. The last few times I've logged on to your blog, something was freezing my explorer window. I figured it was code that would eventually be corrected and it appears to be fine now.

Here's hoping you had a wonderful birthday, filled with love and laughter and cake. Gotta have cake. You're a cool lady, and I'm glad to know you. Cheers!
