"Television is the first truly democratic culture—the first culture available to everyone and entirely governed by what the people want. The most terrifying thing is what people do want,"—Clive Barnes
LOLOLOL! Remember that show Jackass? Gorilla Boy was down by the river and saw a guy jump off one of our bridges. For a dare. Then he watched the police show up and wring out the idiot when he crawled out.
PS - Gorilla Boy says it is the projected version of TV-DVD playing that you can't leave on all the time. The home theater type of tv where a projector is mounted on the ceiling.
barnes was the critic/reviewer in TV guide right? I read all his stuff and always found a kinship with his stuff. Tv seems easiser to influence through mail, calls, email, etc than our government. No wonder our gov't is not fiscaclly solvent.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know? I hear my being dance from ear to ear. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you? God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there, And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how? The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair; I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do To you and me; so take the lively air, And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know. What falls away is always. And is near. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I have to go.

I've heard something about that, too. Maybe by the time I get the den ready, I'll have figured out what kind of TV to get.
