A species of sponge called the red sponge can be pushed through a piece of fabric so that it is broken into thousands of tiny pieces. But the animal does not die. Rather, all the pieces reassemble until the sponge returns to its original form. Now, if only humans could do that when they go to pieces!

Yes if only! I would be constantly reassembling myself, hopefully into a form much improved on the present one..
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know? I hear my being dance from ear to ear. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you? God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there, And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how? The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair; I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do To you and me; so take the lively air, And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know. What falls away is always. And is near. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I have to go.

I did not know that and it's another beautiful thing for my mind to ponder upon.
Thank-you!
Coming soon to a movie theater screen near you!
Oh what would the world be like if we fell apart and when we came back together we were the same?
Leave it to you, Dan!
I guess we have all been screened before and lived to tell the tale. scary image though- squeezed through a fabric.
