Cleaning Questions

I'd like to get a steam cleaner and a pressure washer. Do any of you have any suggestions if you own or have used any that you particularly like or don't? I'll probably rent a pressure washer to see how I like it and how it works but want to have a steam cleaner.

This site
has some comparisons.

i have always wanted one of those professional garment steamers which i am sure could do double duty as a steam cleaner....

I have a Karcher pressure washer from Lowes and I love it. It is electric so I don't have to have gasoline- which I refuse to keep around the house except in the cars!
It's easy to set up and cleans very well.
Haven't used a steam cleaner, but I have a garment steamer and I don't think the steam is under enough pressure to do much cleaning!

I'll ask my BIL, he has a nice pressure washer and I'm going to tell you this, Joy it's addictive. Couldn't put it down once I picked it up

Thanks! Sam, I hope it's addictive because I have a lot of things that need the pressure washer. My patio furniture, patio, carport, and outside windows could use it. I hope they have varying speeds or pressure.

No, those garment steamers don't have what it takes to clean. I want one with enough attachments to clean the bathroom and kitchen for sure. They also kill dust mites, so I can use it on my mattress. They don't vacuum, so cloths and vacuum cleaners are necessary to finish the job.

I think Boy G used one on your patio or porch and that you posted before and after pictures. I was impressed and decided then that I wanted one.

I spent $150 on a garment steamer from Bloomingdale's that completely fell apart after only a couple of uses :( Make sure whatever you buy is returnable!!!

My friends Paige & Carl you saw pictures of from the House Blend dinner are going to let me borrow their pressure washer! Yea! I'm going to Lowe's to check on steam cleaners.

Debonair, I've been meaning to tell you that I can't get on your blog any more. If it's OK, let me know how to do it.
