I get the comments from my blog emailed to me and have been getting many from all my posts with Asian symbols on them. Are any of you getting those from here? If so, how bad is this? What do I need to do about it?
Have to agree with Vaklam. I use Skype a lot (especially for free calls and comms with my family in the US including camera for free - end of free ad, Skype!), but I get a lot of 'requests for contact' from ladies of the world's oldest profession. Unless I know anyone, I tend to delete them, or at least open such requests in a manner which will not confirm my name.
So, Oxy [if that is your real name :)] you only answer the requests of the ladies of negotiable virtue if you know them, otherwise you remain anonymous? Interesting... :D
I don't think it's spam- it's a young asian man who has become a follower on all of our blogs! He seems nice enough, and his blog is a gay-themed blog like many of ours. It's mostly pictures of handsome men, not really pornographic but more erotica= not usually naked. I think his comments are bot being tranlisterated correctly somehwere as they pass through the web. I'm sure he means no harm, and if his blog and it's comments don't interest you, just let him know.
The new follower's comments don't show up on my blog, just in the emails sent to me from my blog. Strange, I think. I just thought of what could have happened since a friend of mine did that. He probably made the comment by clicking the envelope instead of "comments" but there were so many of them several days on the same posts. 80+ of them!
Debi, somehow I'm wondering if there's an oblique reference to me in that "ladies of negotiable virtue" that Oxy knows and helps. How did you find out? I thought the statute of limitations had run out! ;-)
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know? I hear my being dance from ear to ear. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you? God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there, And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how? The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair; I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do To you and me; so take the lively air, And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know. What falls away is always. And is near. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I have to go.

Just delete them and don't click on any links that might be included. They're spam but more annoying than harmful.

As long as you don't find yourself being tracked down by The Supreme Leader you should be okay. The world is getting awfully small...
