It’s official: Lil’ Kim is officially passé. As in, you know, over, a has been, and officially on the road to irrelevance. Though this show will likely find her with the most mainstream attention she’s gotten in years, this isn’t exactly a good sign for a rapper who still wants to be viewed at as a trend setting sex symbol. Nothing trendy about going on a show known for Cloris Leachman and Joey Lawrence, and not many people will find a cast member of a show their mama is glued to all that sexy.
Lil’ Kim will be competing with Go-Go’s lead singer Belinda Carlisle and country singer Chuck Wicks. Yeah, I don’t know who they are. She’ll also be competing with David Allen Grier (I guess “Chocolate News” is over), Jewel, and Lawrence Taylor.

Hey Joy, after making Bill sit through "Walk the Line" and all that is Johnny Cash. I paid back my debt, and sat through "Notorious" the life of rapper Biggee Smalls aka Christopher Wallace. This may not mean a hill of beans to you, but the movie itself is not that bad. Anyho, Biggee was responsible for introducing the world to Lil' Kim. It really explains the reason for her self destruction, and mutilation of her looks.

I read about that movie, Sam. It's sad, and I hope DWTS gives her a chance to expand her career and take care of herself.

There was one awards show that she wore pasties and Diana Ross cupped her boob(!). I cannot remember which one (the pasties were purple) but I was shocked. She is actually a pretty girl and I also hope that she gets it together.
Yea that is Lil Kim for you. I think she has cleaned up her act, but I don't understand the skin bleach thingie. Of course a friend of mine say once you go on DWTS they are pretty much a has been. I still haven't seen the show yet except in passing.
