Southern parts of Tennessee got quite a bit of snow, but we just got a dusting of it here. It's cold today in the 30's but is expected to be in the low 70's this weekend. How's your weather now?
These are my cousin Sally's beagles trying to make their way through the snow they had in Murfreesboro.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know? I hear my being dance from ear to ear. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you? God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there, And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how? The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair; I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do To you and me; so take the lively air, And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know. What falls away is always. And is near. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I have to go.

Surprise, surprise! we actually have some sunshine here today and the temps aren't bad, low 50s, I can deal with that!
still raining! But the birds are singing so I'll take it.
cute doggies
Thanks for visiting my blog. I had to make a return visit, especially when I read that you were a southern liberal baby boomer--me too!
We got about two inches of snow in my area in NC and our temp is also supposed to be in the 70s by the weekend!
What cute ickle puppies! I like beagles almost as much as weenie dogs in the snow...
Precious pups!!
Cute puppies! Bet the snow had melted by sunset, though! ;)
(Don't hit me, I'm Canadian!) :)
No problem, Jeff! LOL We know how we are about snow here. Actually some of our dusting is still here, so theirs stuck around a while.
You have some snow there, though! I saw the photos!
