Caroline Kennedy
I think Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg is as qualified or more so than many others who have held office. Looking at the backgrounds of many of them, I think she is more qualified than some who have done really well. She's grown up in politics and has the same credentials as most. She has a degree from Harvard and a law degree from Columbia. I believe she passed the bar exam the first try, unlike her charming brother. She doesn't need the money and hasn't been in a position to owe favors. So why not? It seems like a great idea to me! I hope she is the next NY senator.

It would be very, very interesting. This last week has been over the top in political news and skulduggery. The gov. of Illinois, the NY senate seat and the shoe incident. Our governor got a mailing with white powder - wonder if that was over our Christmas display foolishness.
I think she would be great -- I like and agree with all the qualifications you mentioned!
Caroline Kennedy in the senate would be the beginning of a new era.
She'd be better than Bobby's kid, that's for sure.
I've has something of a crush on her for some time :)

I agree. I would like to see Caroline appointed. I think she's been inspired like so many to work for change in our country. I like Berry Blog's comment about the new Camelot.
