Seasonal Dyslexia

Sometimes for a brief moment or two, usually when I'm in the car, I go blank on which season we're in. There's really not much of a pattern for when this happens but of course not if it's snowing or sweltering, but it's usually a mild day. Momentarily I'll sort of panic and wonder if it's getting ready to be winter or summer, and if I need to do something to get the car ready for it. This is similar to waking up and wondering what day it is, so you know what to expect.

I've done this for many years, so it's not an old age kind of thing - just a Bernice one.

Bernice must be my middle name, cuz I do this too...esp. the waking up and not knowing what day it is. I do that all the time, and I never know the DATE...that bugs me too.

ahhhh, the joys of "Bernice-itis"

You struck a nerve...I feel that so often but now daily because my sleep habits are so bad...
Did you wake up in the gray of the day and wonder if you were coming into day or coming into evening? I have been halfway to school before realizing I had only taken a nap and was NOT late for school.
