Join the Protest against the Half-Governor

Urge Discovery Communications to Drop Sarah Palin's New Show

Sarah Palin has signed on with reality TV producers and Discovery Communications to star in a new TV show about Alaska and its outdoors.

But the ugly reality is that as governor for only two-and-a-half years, Sarah Palin escalated a bloody aerial wolf-slaughter campaign that continues to this very day. She even planned to offer a $150 bounty for the severed forelimb of each killed wolf.

Palin also fought against increased protections for endangered Cook Inlet beluga whales and America's dwindling populations of polar bears.

Sign our petition to Discovery Communications -- and let them know that Sarah Palin doesn't deserve to represent the "powerful beauty of Alaska" in front of millions of people.

Since there always two or three or four sides to every story I found this Newsweek article.

While I was reading I thought that, here in Washington, we have a big program going to re-introduce wolves to the wilderness.

On to Sarah Palin's reality show - has anyone heard what it will entail? Stories of Alaskans might be interesting. But if it is based around her family ala Kate+8 - NO THANKS!

I got half-governor from Keith Olbermann. Gotta give credit.

I would enjoy seeing a documentary about Alaska but not by her.

Excuse me Auntie Flame. I CANNOT STAND THIS BITCH! When will she get it threw her idiot head people don't like her. And I'm very suprised by Discovery that they would want HER, or anything to do with her! I have signed, and I think I will also post this in my sidebar. The show sounds intresting but their must be some other notable with morals in Alaska to host the show, besides this killing piece of cheap shoe wearing trash. Ahhhhh, I feel better now.

Joy, I already sent off my message about the half governor taking on a television show and why it is a very bad idea for Discovery. Glad you posted the info here. :)
