Say It Ain't So!

I'm bummed that Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone are being cancelled. I love those shows. The writing is original and quirky and intelligent. Both shows have excellent casts and are entertaining. They'll keep some lame shows but cancel these. The horror of it! I'm still not over West Wing being gone.

We fell out of the habit of watching network TV. Dear Daughter's friends at college turned her onto West Wing and one of them bought her season one for Christmas. By the end of it we were hooked!! We spent the next couple months finding and borrowing the rest of the series.

I LOVED it and stuck with it even after Aaron Sorkin quit writing it. I have the DVDs now but wanted it to continue with Jimmy Smits as president. So sad!

I absolutely LOVED the West Wing. The day Mrs. Landingham died without warning, I was a complete wreck.

I didn't see much of the last season (I must have been working) - I really should rent the DVD's.

As far as Eli Stone & Pushing Daisies, I never watched them. But I am sorry for your loss. ;)

XOXOXO

I'm going to miss both of those shows, too. I thought "Pushing Daisies" was fun and fresh ad creative. I loved the cinematography, and the overly-saturated colors. Eli Stone faded for me a bit this season but I was still enjoying it. Bummer. I'll join you in mourning.

Thank you, Jimbo! You expressed that so well.

Anything original, quirky and intelligent is bound to be cancelled.

Witness the continuing airing of Two And A Half Men...
