Heffelump Trivia

There are 40,000 muscles and tendons in an elephant’s trunk. This makes it very strong and flexible, allowing an elephant to pluck a delicate flower, untie a knot, or tear a tree out of the ground; yet the trunk is sensitive enough to smell water 3 miles away.

That first picture is gorgeous!

And I learned new stuff about elephants.

It's a win-win!

(whispering) Sam, I know! We both commented on another blog, and he came over here and followed mine. What do I do?

I think I should remove it since it's all porn and not random photos like one of my "nephews" posts.

I LOVE Heffalumps! I have a collection of antique elephant sculptures that I inherited from my Great Uncle George!

I love elephants. They are probably my favorite animal. They are just so gorgeous. I rode one once at a circus when I was young. I think I'll always remember that.

I can't figure out how to delete that follower.

I've got a pharmaceutical company calling me several times a day for the past two months.I don't know how to block their calls on my land phone. They call every hour all day long for months now.
Any ideas on that?

Last year I was at the circus with my students, and I tell you not there was this elephant that kept staring at me, like telling me do something get me out of here. It was horrible I kept thinking that I wanted to scream and not with cheers. They are magnificent creatures. Thank you for posting about them. Ms. Joy this week was heavy at work. but glad to be on your blog again. Great work.

I used to love elephants until the news media started flashing every time one went wild and killed. Now I see them and oftentimes have a scared feeling.

That's eerie and sad, lelocolon. I've had animals look at me like that, too.

Strange but understandable, Sheena.
