Not sure how I feel about this quote. In some ways, I agree as it applies to reality; however, we wouldn't have progress in civil rights and such without what should be.
on the other hand... I was thinking the anti-gay folks should look at the way things are - have they ever been able to change thousands of years of human history? Demonizing, biblical-ing, killing, ranting, raving, laws, hysterics and still people keep making *the choice*. It is what it is. And I'm not doing the dishes... will we ever make Froggy into a model housekeeper. I think not.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know? I hear my being dance from ear to ear. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you? God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there, And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how? The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair; I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do To you and me; so take the lively air, And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know. What falls away is always. And is near. I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I learn by going where I have to go.

this would mean.
He's an addict and not my prince?
Well I was reading Froggy's comment and I seen that ol' saying It is what it is.
But haven't a lot of scientists "deducted from evidence" that something should be there and eventually found the something?
