Love your trivia for tonight! Guess I was fortunate in being an only child so I haven't had to deal with obnoxious neices or nephews! But I'll remember just in case!

I've read this about St.Bernards but my Saint was just the opposite. He adored my daughter from the time she was born until he was gone. He even baby sat her...I could put her down on the blanket and work in the kitchen (still able to see her) and my Saint would lay with his nose on the edge of the blanket. If she got off the blanket, he would "woof" and barely nip her diaper pulling her back on the blanket. Then he would plop back down looking from her to me with those big brown eyes. He began the baby sitting when she was in her bassinette, woofing if she turned over or made a sound. At the same time, if anyone came to the house or up to the car and it was just my daughter and I, he would most likely have killed them if they had touched either of us. I did not train him to be that way. He also stopped a fight between two boys. One was bigger than the other and on top of the smaller one, my Saint ran over head-butted him off the smaller boy. He never attempted to hurt just made anyone believe he would. I loved that big baby so much.
