More Movie Reviews to Come
Linda, Paige, and I saw Milk and Doubt this afternoon. I'll post reviews as soon as I can. Both were excellent! I hope Sean Penn gets the Oscar for his performance.

I can't remember, did you review Vicky Christina Barcelona yet? I rented it this weekend and was definitely not impressed...
No, I haven't see it yet. It looked like one I could wait to see. Glad to hear your opinion. I didn't see the other one Penelope Cruz was nominated for last year but will get to it eventually. Volver? She and Gwynneth Paltrow are two who receive awards that I don't quite get as being great actresses.
Cruz was decent in the movie--the girl who played Vicky was not. I don't know if it was her, or the dialogue that she was handed (I suspect the latter as I am NOT a fan of Woody Allen), but everything she said was stilted and unrealistic in the context of 2 friends talking. Also, the gratuitous 3-some with Cruz, Johannsen, and Bardem (?) was, to my mind, just Woody Allen living out one of his self-indulgent fantasies on film. Other than that, it was OK... :)
