The most visited cemetery in the world is the Cimetibre du Pere Lachaise in Paris. Established in 1805, the lush grounds contain the tombs of more than 1 million people. The most visited tomb, however, is that of the Doors’ lead singer, Jim Morrison, who died of a drug overdose in France in 1971.

Oh Auntie Flame, I'm so glad you surivied all the jury duty and floods down there!!! This may sound wierd but I love a good cemetery! I love to take picture of the architecture and the gardens and some of the very ornate headstones. Forgive me for not dropping by recently, I 'm very behind in blog reading.
I avoid these places like the plague - they scare me and i don't want to see them...
I had a courtesy aunt who used to travel the country finding moldy relatives, take pictures of their graves and paste them in scrapbooks to bring out to show the rest of us.
