My Day

I went to the monthly meeting of the local Democratic Party for the first time in many years. We signed a resolution to let Congressman John Tanner know that we do not like his voting record, especially on health care reform and that we will support other Democratic candidates now.

Then I went to lunch at Lugo's with a friend I met while knitting. We enjoyed the food and the visit. Afterwards I went to the Grand Opening of Yarn Frenzy. There were lots of people there who bought things and others who got interested in learning to knit. I'm making the transition from social knitter to functional knitter they said. I'll show you my next creations when I finish them.

How was your day? What did you do?

Good for you, for telling your congressman you're not happy with him. We need more of that, and less apathy, these days.
our day was spent doing errands and working aroun d the house, and then dinner out with friends at a Smallville restaurant. It was nice and easy, and gorgeous here because we stopped raining!

Sounds busy to me, Pseudonymph, and a good day!

I'm going to try to get more involved, Bob. I've been emailing them more and finally went to a meeting. Sounds like a good day there, too.

Good for you, Joy. It's important to make OUR voices known, too! The teabaggers don't have the market cornered on that! ;)

Watched Notre Dame win at basketball (actually went to the game) and lose at football. :(

Hugs, Beth

Joy you are so special. Good for you about your congressman. And it was obvious that your next step was that. You had put a lot of time into your knitting it shows. I want to see your creations. Love lelo
