Who Knew?

Natural blonds have more hairs on their heads than redheads or any shade of brunette. A blond has about 120,000 strands of hair, while a redhead has about 30 percent fewer strands, about 80,000. Brunettes are somewhere in between the two.

How many strands if you have black hair? My hair is so thick I've had thinning shears actually twist before and the girl cutting my hair said she'd never seen hair that thick before.

Really? That's something! My hair is fine and not that thick, so I can't even imagine how that would be. I can understand how it could be a problem in some ways, though.
