Whatevers

Watching gymnastics on TV and thinking about the girls' outfits.  Long sleeves but barely covered below the waist.  The guys on the other hand wear tank tops and long pants.  Just seems odd.  Put together, they wear all or almost nothing.

Laughed at myself again when I threw away the toilet paper holder and held onto cardboard tube.  For those of you who never change the toilet paper, this happens sometimes.

If the girls had no sleeves, their suits would look like swimwear. And if the boys had sleeve, well that would be just a crying shame!! I like when the boys do floor exercise... then they take off their long pants and they just have on a tight tank top and little short-shorts! Now THAT'S a sport I'll watch!

Seems that many endeavors require women to be barely clothed.

Not sure why male newscasters wear a tshirt, long sleeved shirt and jacket with tie and women wear little dresses, short, scoop necked and sleeveless. SOMEONE is either freezing or boiling on those sets.

Hot male gymnasts need to wear less clothing - period.

Oh, come on, you can't tell me others haven't done that with the toilet paper holder!

Joy, um, did you ever throw the baby out with the bathwater?
Just curious!

I think the women use the exposed skin on their legs for traction on apparatus like the balance beam while the men wear pants to avoid the same traction on the pommel horse. For me, there's no way the costumes can detract from the amazing feats these athletes perform.
