I took a quiz on Facebook about where I should live, and it came out New York City! Not a surprise! All kinds of things I'd like to do are there, and some special friends! :-) David Dust I could hang out with and stay in with! What fun we'd have! Doggy who would cook for me sometime!
Miss Ginger's was NYC, too, and Ell's was London. I'd like to live there, too. I don't know how to link that quiz on here, but here's the FB link to it.
Here's what it said: (but not opera)
New York City: You love being the limelight of every situation. Gotham City is perfect for you for an array of reasons. You love the arts, Broadway stars, the masterpieces at the Met or escaping with an opera at Lincoln Center. A foodie too all the way, you love how you choose from countless menus and mingle with the culinary artists-from mom-and-pop deli owners to star restaurant chefs.

Facebook is an evil cult...
XOXOXOXOXO
Come, come on over to the dark side! Luke, I am your aunt!
We will definitely have fun when you come visit me in NYC.
But Facebook is still evil...
XOXOXOXOXO
I'm NYC, too.
I'll start packing now.
Meet you and Carlos there, Bob!!
DD, FB might be evil, but I'm friends with Fabio and Stefan on there now! Fabio updates regularly! So there! :-)
Bob, I sense a pattern here about how much we like the limelight!
Joy I took the same quiz before I saw your post here.( It's a little thing Kailyn and I do EVERY Saturday!) Mine said I should just live in or near a big city. I love quizes!
Me, too, Mistress Maddie!
Darling Auntie Flame:
I am also Facebook friends with Stefan and Fabio. But since I never log on, I never see their "status".
BTW - what in Sweet Baby Jeebus' name is the big deal about everyone's Facebook "status"??? Seriously, I don't get it.
Here is my permanant Facebook Status: "Puzzled Why The Rest of You Care"...
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
There are several things I have a problem with on FB. One of them is how they keep trying to get people to send all that crap to each other. I ignore it. I don't get the status part either but do learn something about people from it and check up on my granddaughters that way, too. It's been good to get in touch with some people.
So you do get on there to befriend but nothing else. I get it!
As I mentioned before, it's like tentacles of degrees of separation.
Love you always! Love your status!
XOXOXOXOXOX
I'm still enjoying FB but my disillusionment is starting up.It is still nice hearing from old friends and former students but that sending people things and inviting people to join one group after another is starting to get annoying. I pretty much ignore them now.
I went on Facebook because a freind in California was on it, and then my sister got on it, and then, well, I got of it. I haven't been back in a long while.
I don't get it. I'm old or bored or lazy or stupid.
Or a combination thereof.
I got Florence, Italy, which is one place I've always wanted to visit. I think they have me pegged!
My first try was Bangkok, Thailand - second was Hong Kong - third was NYC. I gave up ... I want to live in the country with easy access to cultural and culinary excellence. Maybe that place does not exist????
I also get bored and frustrated with all the "do this" "join this" on FB but it is a way to re-connect with old friends, family, and others I rarely see.
Love the quizzes.
