Well, it seems that I had about ten years of blogging in me. I started my first one in 2002 and wrote regularly for quite a while. During the last year, not so much. Progressively fewer posts and time on the computer. Part of that has to do with feeling better, I think. Another part is having my attention diverted to Facebook and playing that damned game I'm beginning to get tired of (thank goodness). No, not Scrabble. I still enjoy playing that with my worthy opponents. It's Castleville, a quest game that I was addicted to. I probably need to give it up for Lent.
So what shall I do? I miss being in touch with my blogging friends and enjoyed that time we bantered and had our own private jokes. Maybe I can get back into it.

i agree with you about the camaraderie of blogging- so many people have become a part of my life in such a good way i dont want to give that up either.

I've slowed down but have a new crime of Abby's that I'll report soon...
between you and me, you don't need your blog to get in touch with me!!!!! Oh, this is on isn't it? Anyhow, I still blog and still love it. Im amazed how many still read my damn ramblings. But Alot of blogs are going dark, due to Facebook, twitter and other forms of blogs like Tumblr, with less content. Many finding their comfort levels. I still blog because Im not on the others. I think thats why some bloggers went dark- too many outlets and "sites" to run. I still enjoy your visits and if you do hang up the blog, you aint gettin rid of me so easy. Im like a rash I hear!!!! Congrats on the ten years too!
XOXO
ps what did you think of the last ep of Downton Abbey???
@ the dog
I can't wait to hear this one!
I like the blog-o-sphere and since I love to talk and always have an opinion, I'm guessing I'll keep at it.
I think with Facebook, none of us are blogging as much, but we still stay in touch. I find that I use the blog more to document things I want to share "permanently" or preserve for myself, whereas clever quips and bon mots just get dumped into the Facebook soup. It's all good! I still hope we get to meet in NOLA someday!
Facebook doesn't have anything to do with me not blogging. I miss all the folks that did blog on a regular basis too, mostly David's funny recaps.
Your are dedicated to Castleville that's for sure. What will become of Maxine's castle??? Lol
I've managed to keep my blog going but it's hard. I know I have people reading it because the stats indicate such but I loved the old days where the comments were active.
I miss that, too, Chris.
Maddie, I HATED that last episode of Downton Abbey!!!!!!!
