A little snow with no accumulation is predicted for us, but that eastern part of TN is in for several inches. That's where the Smokey Mountains are and where that picture on my blog header was taken.

Here in Eastbourne, E Sussex, UK, we had about 1/2 inch of snow the other day. Everything ground to a halt and the local breakfast radio DJ elected to use the term "total nightmare" every second sentence. I fear we lack a certain sense of perspective when it comes to snow in the UK...

Only a couple of inches here, thank goodness. Hope all of our friends on the East coast have battened down the hatches! Glad to hear David made a pre-emptive liquor store strike!
You'll be happy to know that the size queen here in Philadelphia received about 12 inches. You'll be proud.
Someone wrote from VA and said they had lived there for 5 years and never bought a shovel. Now they are using gloves and buckets in desperation
I used a dustpan one year to dig out my car...only about a 1/2 inch here...
