I think this is hilarious! It's like that saying, "Who do I have to sleep with to get off this movie?" only better. How can I get a deal like this?
Record label after record label signed the Sex Pistols then paid them to leave the label. In four months’ time the recording industry paid the band $350,000 to go away.

There were days when I would have given Eldest Son's band 20 bucks to end rehearsal just short of the deck vibrating off the house...
Mmmmm I have a musician son, too, fortunately they had someplace besides our house to rehearse. But I was wondering what I could do to get a deal like that!
They even made a movie off the back of this: The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle.
I wouldn't bother - it's rubbish.
That's amazing! A movie even! We really do need to find a deal like that!
The trick is to make one amazing demo - good enough to impress all the scouts, agents and record producers - get signed with an ironclad contract, then be too obnoxious to keep around. Maybe we could get all our musician sons together and . . . just a thought.
HA!! I would have done the same exact thing!!!!
Good idea!
