Good to Know

Contrary to popular misconception, bats do not become entangled in human hair and seldom transmit disease to other animals or humans.

  1. We had a bat in the house when I was a kid, and it DID get entangled in my sisters hair-dad got it out, but to this day she still remembers it and hates bats.

  2. I have seen bats up close before and they have never once tried to attack me or fly in my hair.

Not that I have much hair :(
