Another Myth Debunked

Contrary to popular belief, Daniel Boone reportedly did not like coonskin caps.

Davy Crockett did, I guess. Thus the confusion since Fess Parker played both of them.

    As per Wikipedia (which I don't trust necessarily) it was because they wanted to do another Davy Crockett show, but they somehow could not get the rights to it. So, they decided to go for Daniel Boone instead, but gave him the same hat.
