Trivia

From the 1850s to the 1880s, the most common cause of death among cowboys in the American West was being dragged by a horse while caught in the stirrups.

I'm not sure how this makes me feel. It's strange somehow.

  2. Which is why I almost always rode bareback as a kid and now why I ride sans backrest on the bike. Jumping fences bareback is an experience relived 40 years later in vivid dreams.
