I have one of those little trees I put on a table and a few other things. Eventually I might put up my big tree again, but who knows?Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15718724697267800263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1147733538257149903.post-71024984500109837612008-10-23T12:09:00.000-05:002008-10-23T12:09:00.000-05:00Outside, I only put a wreath on the front door at ...Outside, I only put a wreath on the front door at Christmas. Inside, we put up a tree and other stuff, but it's getting less and less every year. When my sons were young, we would put up one new thing each day of December.

This year, we're trying to get the floors done upstairs. Consequently, everything (boxes upon boxes of books, furniture, and JUNK) has moved downstairs into the living room and family room. So who knows what it will be like for Christmas. We might be sitting on boxes and eating turkey dinner off bookshelves.ellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13778674443452747233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1147733538257149903.post-81058426665196433052008-10-22T18:03:00.000-05:002008-10-22T18:03:00.000-05:00We were one of those over the top Halloween houses...We were one of those over the top Halloween houses before all the kids went off to college. Gravestones, a coffin, full sized skeleton in a rocking chair, working guillotine, smoking cauldron.

I took pity on The Engineer as he was left as my only helper so we sent it all to Goodwill. I can only imagine what they thought...

Now I have a haunted village. So the whole mess in miniature and it fits in one bed by the front door. Right now I have a yard full of contractor and crew but I hope to get it out before Halloween.the dogs' motherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11512888563325865616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1147733538257149903.post-9873568219018635312008-10-22T16:26:00.000-05:002008-10-22T16:26:00.000-05:00Confession...I have all pull and set stuff. I am fond of the colors, so i put up things I can just pull out of the box. this year, they are standing outside their boxes in the cellar-it's been that long. all the easier it will be to just drag their dustiness upstairs.
and if nobody mentions it, I probably won't do that!Berry Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12079390231632421561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1147733538257149903.post-12814417395240919332008-10-22T16:22:00.001-05:002008-10-22T16:22:00.001-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.David Dusthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00348019814971057479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1147733538257149903.post-66901541796523292542008-10-22T16:22:00.000-05:002008-10-22T16:22:00.000-05:00I don't decorate for ANYTHING. My roommate usually likes to get a Christmas tree - but if it was up to me we wouldn't do anything.

Decorating for the holidays has never been a big deal for me.
