So far I've been social and had a great time! A friend and I drove an hour and a half to visit her daughter and had a good visit driving there and with her daughter and granddaughter Saturday. Then my mother and I ate out New Year's Day to have our black-eyed peas and cabbage. Today I met Tug and Bill for breakfast nearby and then went to see "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." It was good, but I wish I'd read the book first. I intended to but didn't even start it. I'll read it now along with the others I'm reading.
Resolutions. Do you have any? I have my usual ones and actually feel more optimistic about keeping them than I usually do. No, really. LOL
Someone posted on Facebook that resolutions simply become a "to-do" list for the first week of January! I'm afraid that to be true in my case, so I just continue my year 'round mantra: to try to be a nicer person every day. I'm doing pretty good I think! I sure do wish Tug and Bill would stop and visit me on one of their trips through Texas!
