I checked the interwebz before bed to find out. I almost hope that Hope is next after watching her talk about what she is going thru. Joy, do you remember if they ever had a female athlete before that wasn't a figure skater?
Shawn Johnson (gymnast) and Laila Ali (boxer)were both on. Shawn won and Laila was 3rd during their seasons. Misty May-Treanor (volleyball) had to withdraw because she injured her Achilles tendon. Laila and Misty were both paired with Maks.
I feel sad for Hope and how hard this is for her to go through.
I wish it were, too, and that she could relax and have fun. Most of them seem stressed and feel the pressure. Hope must be reading the message boards and listening to mean comments. Like you, I hate to see her have a bad experience with it.

Thanx! That is interesting. Hope has gone thru a lot in her life. Just wish this was more of a positive experience for her.
