Nose?

I just saw on the news that they're giving the H1N1 vaccine in the nostril. It's not a shot in the nose, is it? Or do they squirt it in there? That doesn't sound so great. My eyes are watering just thinking about it.

  1. There's a nasal-spray option. The injection is still in the arm.

  2. The question is which is going to be more effective? - especially for those of us in the more high risk catagories...

  3. Yeah. I'm avoiding that shit, no matter how they deliver it.
And I could live to regret these words.

  4. Ms. Moon I like your tone, I will rather have the nose application because I do not like getting prick. It bothers me to get prick at all. However with my luck it seems that the needle is going to be the case.

  5. It's a nasal aerosol, and it's only for healthy individuals between the ages of 2 and 49. It is equally as effective as the shot.

  6. I got my flu shot at the Dr. office yesterday. I never felt the needle. They are using such tiny ones these days.
