Dylan Trivia


In 1960, before "Blowin’in the Wind," Bob Dylan was paid $50 for playing the harmonica on a Harry Belafonte album.

  1. You killed me with that, but what I can tell you is that he changed his name, and it seems so wierd for a guy like that, you would not think he care. His last name was zimmerman, pretty jewish pal, like me.

  2. That's right. He changed it as an homage to Dylan Thomas, the Welsh poet.
