i was informed of this when i first started teaching when some bright young mind/ future captain of industry/ lawyer told me in that know it all sing song voice kids get when they know they have one upped the teacher this after some kid called someone else a dork in class and i didnt step in to right the cosmic wrong that had occurred.
Girrrrrl, I have known too many "dorks" in my time and still know one unfortuntely. He is always so negative and mean. Thanks for this tip. I know have a new name for him!!!
Some friends of ours told us that bit of trivia a while back, and it makes it even funnier when you call someone a dork!

It's not a small thing to be called since Aristotle Onassis had bar stools made from "dorks" on his yacht.
